G.P.S. (God's Plan of Salvation)Sin – separates us from God. God created man and endowed him with dominion over the earth; however, man sinned against God and allowed death to enter into the human race. Romans 5:12 says that “by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned.” Romans 3:23 emphasizes our inability to reach God because of our sin. “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”
Repentance – the act of repentance is the turning away from sin. Acts 17:30 states that; “God now commands all men everywhere to repent.” Faith – faith is a deep rooted trust; not some fickle or faint belief. The Bible tells us to put our absolute trust in Jesus’ death for our sins and His resurrected life for salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 says; “For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourself it is the gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast.” We can’t earn salvation it is a gift given to those that completely rely upon Jesus’ payment for sin upon the cross and His justification through the resurrection (Romans 5:8-15). I want to pray now to receive Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord.
